Women Supporting Women

Femina Britannia is an art exhibition seeking to create enduring, iconic visual legacies for the women defining this century.

We have invited a selection of women whom we believe to be defining 21st Century Britain to be featured in a private exhibition in London. This curated collection will comprise original oil portraits of distinguished women from across the private and not-for-profit sectors, each accompanied by a biographical profile capturing their leadership and legacy.

The commission includes the finished oil painting, framing and catalogue inclusion.

The Exhibition

The exhibition will be a private afternoon reception held in London in March 2026, and will feature a short panel discussion and drinks. It is an intimate, two-hour event designed to honour the women featured and provide space for reflection, recognition, and connection. Nominees will be able to invite friends and family to the exhibition.

The Process

Reference Session
We begin with a private sitting in your chosen setting; locations could include your office, library, or home. Our lead artist conducts both a photographic and sketch study, capturing not only your likeness but the atmosphere that defines you. We believe your environment is an extension of your character – and to render your portrait truthfully, we must observe both.

The Portraits
Each work is rendered in oil on primed wooden panel, measuring 60×80cm. This medium – favoured by Old Masters such as van Eyck, Botticelli, and Holbein – is prized for its smooth surface and archival stability. It offers a level of control and depth ideal for heirloom portraiture. Every piece is professionally framed, catalogued, and exhibited: a museum-grade work created to honour your legacy, not just your likeness.
